How to remove a rust mark

Speed Queen is the world’s number 1 in commercial laundry. Find out in this article how to remove rust stains.

Firstly, bear in mind that there are various anti-rust products for cotton or linen on the market, in liquid or powder form. All you have to do is pour a little on the spot and wait a few minutes for it to take effect: the spot disappears on its own, without any need for rubbing. Once the mark has gone, put the laundry through the machine to get rid of any residue of the product.

Remove rust stains with lemon

In a glass, mix the juice of one lemon with a soupspoon of fine salt, diluted in a little water. Dip a clean cloth in the mixture and use it to rub the stained area. Leave it take effect for 30 minutes then put the laundry through the machine. If the stain persists, place the garment over a pan of boiling water: steam will facilitate its removal.
